CASEIN ART COMPETITION
Casein paint, a versatile water-based medium
that dries permanently, has been reintroduced
by Shiva Paints, a division of Jack
Richeson & Co. To encourage artists to explore
the medium's unique characteristics, the company
is sponsoring a painting competition that will
be administered and judged by American Artist,
a museum official, and the winner of last year's
competition. The sponsors encourage entries
from artists who have already used the medium
and those discovering it for the first time.
Information about casein paint will be sent
to everyone who requests an entry form. The
